Mary Ellen Slayter is CEO of Rep Cap, which she launched after working as a journalist at The Washington Post and SmartBrief. She has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in agronomy from Louisiana State University. Mary Ellen serves on the boards of the LSMSA Foundation and Mid City Gras. She lives in Baton Rouge with her husband, two daughters and one lazy dog.
Lee Price is a content marketing consultant at Rep Cap. Lee always thought she’d be writing novels, but after graduating with a degree in English from the University of Virginia, she accidentally became a marketer. She has managed new online advertising products for SmartBrief, produced a YouTube series about temporary tattoos and ghostwritten blog posts for some of the best thinkers around. Lee lives in south Georgia with her husband and young daughters.
Mitchell Garsee is a content marketing consultant specializing in content for the financial services industry. Mitchell has worked in public accounting, finance and mental health. He has a degree in psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and another in accounting from Louisiana State University. He’s passionate about Microsoft Excel but when he’s not making spreadsheets, he enjoys kayaking, camping and cycling. He lives in south Louisiana with his wife and children who are embarrassed by the old pickup truck he loves to drive.
Krista Savana is an executive assistant at Rep Cap. She has over 10 years of experience in healthcare administration where she gained valuable skills in data management and project coordination. She is always looking for opportunities to show off her pivot tables skills, but when she’s not sifting through data she enjoys reading and solving cryptograms and nonograms. She lives in north Louisiana (which we feel is an important distinction from south Louisiana) with her partner, two children and a turtle her kids lovingly named “Stick.”
