Launching a New Platform
AskNicely was launching a mobile coaching platform to empower frontline staff (employees who deal directly with customers) to make every customer experience awesome. They wanted to host a digital summit that would serve as a promotional tool for the platform while helping to build community, brand awareness and thought leadership.
A Compressed Timeline
A short turnaround to pull the event together would prove to be a challenge for the team. The team needed efficient planning and execution in order to brand, create and launch the event precisely and hit the target launch date.
Using the event technology platform Hopin, Rep Cap helped AskNicely produce the event. Rep Cap used Basecamp as a project management tool and coordinated the administration of the event within Hopin. We promoted the event with weekly emails through Marketo leading up to the event. The emails advertised the speakers and sessions for the summit. Social promotion, including the creation of visual assets, was also executed by the Rep Cap team.
The Frontline Summit Experience
There were 28 different sessions total. Topics ranged from marketing to customer experience to even a petting zoo! Keeping the topics varied and providing unique, interactive breaks helped make the event fresh.
The Final Result
Frontline Summit was launched on time on Nov.12, 2020. Customer obsessed-brands from around the world came together for a day filled with frontline stories, practical playbooks and inspiration. The Summit drew 3,000+ registrants, with attendees praising the quality of the content, the ease of individual networking sessions, and live musical performances.
Three partners contributed substantially to the event as paid sponsors, offsetting the hard costs of hosting the event.
